Hi everyone!

My name is Michelle and I'm from the Netherlands. During the last year I have been working as an au pair in both London and Sweden. Right now, I'm doing the same thing, but in Copenhagen! I love meeting new people from all around the world and I can't even imagine moving back to my own country ever again. I just love being abroad and being in places where there's a lot going on. Though I also very much appreciate the nature, which is what I absolutely love about Sweden. But for the next few years you'll find me in places where there's a lot of stuff going on, like parties, festivals and a lot of culture (probably just gonna be the amazing city of Copenhagen!).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Together with a friend I made a roadtrip through Italy, which was when I first started couchsurfing. It has been an amazing experience so far and we've met some awesome people who really showed us local things and made our holiday unforgettable. I wouldn't even consider staying at a ho(s)tel anymore. Couchsurfers are the best!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Drinks! (No, I'm not an alcoholic, at least not yet, but "drinks" could easily be my second name...) Also, I can talk quite a lot when I'm in a good mood and like you. If I'm quiet around you, then I probably don't like you. (Yes, in the end I'm still Dutch and you will notice that quite easily.)
Do I have anything I could share with you other than these obvious things? Hmm.. I have some knowledge of some ugly languages (Dutch, Swedish/Danish), so that is basically always a fun topic. But furthermore do I not really own any special talents. Though I always love being clumsy and blonde. Must admit I'm kind of a professional in those two things :)
