About Me

At a crossroad in my life and decided there is no better time than now to go see and do all the things I keep daydreaming about. I'm an intravert by nature so I often have to push myself to go out with other people and I'm always glad I when I do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am taking a yearlong career break to go travel and volunteer abroad, and the couch surfing community seems like a great way to meet cool host and other travelers. I feel extremely fortunate to live in a time period where opportunities like this are possible. While I will be nomadic for the next year and will be on the surfing couches end of it, I hope to give back to the host during my stays and will be able to host others in the future.

Interests

Big time love and fascination with animals, big or small, furry or slimy, domestic or wild. I also enjoy long distance trail running, hiking/backpacking, playing amiture sports, wimpy mountain biking, permiculture and many more activities. These hobbies have the bonus effect of making it possible for me to endulge in my other favorite interest such as trying new and delicious foods and tantalizing microbrews. Similarly to the rest of the couch surfing community, I enjoy engaging in new lifestyles, cultures, and scenery.
