I was a stay at home and work from home mom for ten years and am now returning to field in education as a teacher! I have more independence now than ever in my life and am interested in making friends and seeing new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I made a friend once who told me about this site and how he'd traveled to so many amazing places because of it. He said it made his entire experience so much more authentic because people helped him find the better places to hang out or would even introduce him to friends in the area while he traveled around. It made me curious so I'm checking it out a bit before I decide if it's something I can/want to pursue.

Interests

Mainly, my interest is in broadening my experiences. I was raised in a very conservative way and am at a point of my life where I have more freedom to be myself and do new things. I like running, being outside, cooking, dancing, reading....but more so I just like trying new things and meeting new people.
