Обо мне

CURRENT MISSION

looking for a mission; looking to bust a mission; looking at other people's missions; figuring IT out

ABOUT ME

I really like laughing at really awkward situations. I like discussing politics for hours and hours. Most of all I like discovering new ways to think about life, people and things in general. Everytime I travel, I search for something that is out of my mind different and get the same feeling of shock. Shock is euphoria. It's the moment when you realize you are generally wrong and if you think you are right, you're just being arrogant. I like opening my mind to new experience and philosophies and I like people in general.

PHILOSOPHY

Never say never.

Photography, Music, Theatre and Art in general. Anything that requires some sense of insanity interests me. I don't necessarily mean crazy, but more like very passionate.

Музыка, кино и книги

I'm in love with Muse and Ghinzu.
I particularly enjoy independent films and this is my philosophy on it: Mainstream films are called mainstream for a reason. They are easy to find and very predictable. Watching an independent film means 1. you need to look hard for it and 2. someone actually did something original.
I love picture books. But also, Hemmingway is a good writer. So is Zamiantine, Huxley and Bradbury. The last three may all the the same types of writers, but I really like their books.

Классная вещь, которую я сделал(-а)

The view of Paris from the Centre Pompidou. Don't tell everyone, but it's breathtaking.

Учу, учусь, делюсь опытом и информацией

Whenever I feel like situations couldn't be worse I think of two things: 1 things could be worse, I could be dead and 2. tomorrow you will laugh about it.

At the Andy Warhol exhibit in Stockholm, Sweden there was a tv screen videotaping the inside of the toilet stalls, sinks and pissers in both the men and women's restrooms. It was placed right outside the entrance door so everyone could see that it. Maybe it was an attempt to divert people from using the restrooms and therefore reducing cleaning and maintenance costs. Well, then you start freaking out cause you don't really want everyone to see you taking a piss or a dump or doing drugs or having intercourse (with yourself or someone else)...so the first thing that runs through your head is: do I really need to use the restroom. And, well, after a 2 1/2 hour exhibit most people answer "yes" but some people gross out and say "no way." So although, you're pretty creeped out by the fact that eveyone outside can see you with your pants down...you still go for it and on the side of the bathroom, as you walk in, you see a tiny simulation of the bathroom you are in with a camera taping it...and that's when you either: get pissed or take a piss. I would be the second of the two. I LOVE that kind of humor. It makes you laugh at yourself and question yourself at the same time. Just cause you see it, is it true? Can you really assume that your eyes can distinguish reality from fiction? Why would you attempt to use the restroom if you firmly believed what your eyes see? How strong is this "follow the crowd" phenomenon?
