About Me
Hi everyone! I'm Michelle. Nice to meet you!! I have a BA in Digital Arts - Sound from Stetson University. I do audio visual at convention centers in Orlando, Florida. I am yellow and abstract tan and am sure we'd all get along better if we knew what aura color we were. Music is my first love; I play piano and guitar, but I'm happiest when I'm singing. I'm generally non-violent, but I might smack someone in the face for not recycling. However, I like buying floor lamps and Christmas lights, so I can't claim to be all that eco-friendly. I like to end sentences in exclamation points! At some point in life, I want to buy a retired school bus and convert it into a home. I shop by unit price, like to divide by three, and think Skycraft Parts and Surplus in Winter Park, FL is possibly the happiest place on earth. With that said, I am a firm believer that Michelle is a dish best served in person, so if we haven't crossed paths, please don't base your opinion of me off of text on a webpage (unless it's a good opinion; then I approve immensely).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I grew up in Florida, the land of pre-packaged, sanitized-for-your-protection, shiny, fake, magical tourism. When I travel, I want to see what a place is actually like, meet the people who live there, and make friends around the world. I wanna smell the smells and feel the feels (even if the smells and feels are gross). Of course I want to see all of the awesome things, but I also want to do mundane things like going grocery shopping and buying gas and sitting in traffic. (Okay, maybe not that last one.) You can't learn anything real about a place if all you do is see the bits that got cleaned up for the tourists.

I love playing music (guitar, voice, piano), digital and interactive art, musical theatre, video editing, etc. I like to make things!

Teach, Learn, Share
I want to play music with people around the world! I know a little bit about guitar and would be happy to teach anyone a couple of chords. I also know a bit about video and audio. And I like to dye hair. Anyone want to go blue? Magenta? I can help!
I want to learn new languages (even if it's only a few phrases), play new songs, and do things I've never done before.
So, let's share some food, some music, and some good times!
