I would like to meet new friends whilst I am staying in Lima and disover the city here.

ABOUT ME

I am currently traveling in Peru, improving my Spanish and finding out about a different culturue. I am a doctor and training to be a GP. I love traveling and I love finding out about new cultures, new places and people, so couch surfing seems perfect for me. I am a musician and I love to listen most of all to Jazz music. I enjoy being active and love to hike, ski, swim and occasionally run. Anything that doesnt involve hand ball eye coordination. I am a people person and my family and friends are important to me. I enjoy socialising.

PHILOSOPHY

I am keen to give most things a try and be open and accepting to everybody. My personal philosphy is to be kind to everybody and be friends with those that reciprocate that kindness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am keen to start participating in couchsurfing. I have only recently become aware of the couchsurfing community and I think it is a great idea!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My only experience todate is meeting a couchsurfer whilst traveling and my boyfriend inviting a couple of couchsurfers to stay in our house. I would like to beoome more involved! We enjoyed hosting a German couple to stay at our house. We cooked a really tasty curry and they broguht the desert. Even better they had cleaned our kitchen when I arrived back from work. At this point we hadnt lived in Manchester long and it was lovely to discover a arthouse cinema together.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movies are.. Shawshank redeption, Constant gardener, inception, The kings speech.
I dont read loads at the moment but one of the books I enjoyed recently was The wild swan. It is about the lives of a family throughout the changes in China in the 20th century.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing currently is that I am living in Peru for 6 months. It has been challenging, informing and at times fustrating but it is an experince that has changed me and has been really cool.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I am a Doctor so if anyone is really interested I know enough to fulfil anyones desires for gross medical tales. I also grew up in a musical household and know a fair amount about music (mainly classical music). I am also love to travel so I have a few travel tails. I love to learn about anything. My major interest currently is Spanish, but I am open to learn about almost anything, minus astronomy.
