I'm looking to get in touch with New Zealand hosts for a surf and/or hang out!

I'm planning a trip to New Zealand in December 2017 and may be looking for hosts in Auckland and/or the South Land for the week of December 16. I have my plane tickets, just starting to sort details for the second part of my trip. I'm very excited!

ABOUT ME

I've hosted and hung out with a handful of travelers from all over the world and have never regretted it!

I like to meet people and learn about what motivates them; what are you passionate about? I like the arts in all forms - music and writing are my favorite. I have more journals than I can count and plenty of songs in the works for guitar. When I have free time is usually spent on the mat, in my hammock, crafting, writing, playing with color, embellishing, and whatever else maintains my sanity.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to provide a place that is open for the adventurist, wanderer, yogi, lover etc... I have couch and plenty of floor space. Also a hammock and tiny back yard if you're so inclined.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted and spent time with travelers on multiple occasions. From Idaho, Italy, Austin, Seattle. I've surfed in Seattle and Vancouver, BC.
Walked for days through downtown Vancouver, became a mushroom hunter in Bellingham, supported Achachay! in their Boise gigs.

兴趣

Guitar, singing, lyricism, dancing, sleeping under the stars, all yoga, new friends. I'd like to meet the tech savvy musicians who are familiar with music recording software, let me know! Hmm... longboarding, philosophy, writing creative non-fiction, meditating, studying, hooping, park days, visualizing a successful handstand, drinking coffee, drinking beer, FESTIVALS.

Wanderlust Festival in Squaw Valley. Yoga + Music + Nature. Totally rocked my world. And of course, the time I walked through a two mile tunnel -- without light-- on the Idaho and Montana border to find a waterfall on the other side.

I love hosting and hanging out with surfers! I'm currently "hosting" my grandparents and acting as their primary care giver, so unfortunately my place may be a bit busy to accommodate and attend to surfers as I'd like.
