Overview
About Me
Born to English and Japanese parents, I grew up in Cairns in the Australian tropics. I studied physics at the Australian National University.
I'm an easygoing person who enjoys thought-provoking conversations about any topic, especially anything related to films, history and philosophy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on holiday in Europe for several months and would like to get to know new people everywhere I go. I will mostly be in Germany, but will also be visiting the UK as well. While I'm in Germany, I also wish to develop my German which I believe Couchsurfing will help with.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have a podcast called A Method to the Madness (accessible at amttm.com/) of which I am a co-host where we discuss all things related to movies.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love teaching things I know about, especially science and physics in particular. I was a tutor at my university for physics and am always happy to discuss anything related to physics.
I’m saying that, I actually love many other topics, including history, politics and philosophy! Probably my favourite thing to discuss is film! I have a podcast with a friend where we discuss film. You can find it at amttm.com/, if you’re interested (please excuse our profanity on it; we’re Australian).
Always happy to learn literally anything from anyone!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like meaningful conversations about how fleeting life is. I find life doesn't have a linear formula and there are an infinite multitude of ways in which one can live it. For those that want to discuss where their life is heading and what they believe they should do in their life, I would love to discuss it. By no means am I a professional in this field. I haven't studied anything related to psychology but have found to personally enjoy these topics.
