Interests
Music, Food, Language, Culture, People, Art, Reading and Teaching.
Music has always played a really big part in my life, I sang in a choir in NYC for 10 years, played clarinet and flute for 6. Currently learning percussion here in Sevilla and have a small group with a few girls here. OLE. Normally you can find me enjoying a live concert, rocking out to some music on my bici, or laughing with friends at a cafe. I also love african dance and have been to a few intensive courses here in Spain. :) Planning to start flamenco in September.
Of course everyone looooves food but being on my own this year and not having a ton of money has really spruced my interest in culinary arts. I love trying new recipes and cooking/baking (especially baking) for my friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Surprise skydiving in Rome (very much afraid of heights)
- Missing a flight in Morocco
My best friend and I traveled to Morocco (for a wedding) and to Seville (for vacation) Christmas of 2010. Unfortunately we missed our flight from Casablanca to JFK on January 2nd. BAD IDEA. We ended up meeting the most wonderful couple we pretty much acted as our parents for about 42 hours. They were so kinda and so helpful. I won't forget them. Planning on attending their daughter's wedding in South Africa this December. The kindness of others is always inspiring.
