About Me

An American native published author and seasoned unconventional educator with over ten years as an expatriate, eager to use and share acquired skills and knowledge with students and colleagues. At 34 years old, I have the ability to foster healthy, trusting and dependable relationships as a mentor and advisor. I have spent extensive time teaching in South Korea, Japan, and even Budapest, Hungary! I am now at the age, where I want to learn more from life and from others around the world in unconventional ways!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to embark on couchsurfing because I love traveling. The worldwide web gives me the opportunity to combine my career passion with a maximum resource, allowing me to influence the future much farther than the common human reach. When I travel, I really enjoy the languages that people use to communicate. I am currently traveling around Thailand and learning the language as a student. Because of my zest for learning, this keeps my travel style sensitive to other locals and expats around the world. I believe that no matter where you are from, or where you travel, we should all be able to speak to one another as humans and help each other have the best life experience!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movies includes: INCEPTION, THE NOTEBOOK, BLACK PANTHER, FROZEN II

My favorite music includes anything with a drum beat.

My favorite book is THE LITTLE PRINCE by Saint Antoine de Exupery.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I've done is travel on a flight with all 3 of my dogs in my lap in cabin! It went off without a hitch and I felt like a super-hero! Even the flight attendants wanted to give us extra food for them. Very sweet ride from USA- THAILAND!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my artistic ability to paint, draw or even create cool hairstyles or makeup. I'm also a freelance photographer with years of experience at a studio in America. Most importantly, I am also a tarot-reader and have offered free life-evaluation sessions with my friends and family as a peace offering. Knowledge and wisdom to enrich our lives is more valuable than any physical possession, in my opinion. Finally, I suppose I should mention the obvious of teaching free English lessons to those interested in fine-tuning their speech!
