Untethered young art-oriented person. I've worked a number of jobs involving retail, automotive, design and food service. I've found great passion in bartending and have a fleeting dream to build a hybridized coffeeshop/bar/tattoo parlour. Step one is becoming a tattoo artist and working as a bartender around the world to draw inspiration and technique from the perspectives of all cultures.

Currently hosting, not travelling.
Stays of 3 days or emergency stays available* if I get a good vibe from you.
Anything longer I ask for some form of compensation as I live alone and have a relatively expensive apartment.
That said I typically cook dinners & breakfasts for guests, have a home bar so if you drink there’s always nice things available so it’s definitely a give and take situation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I feel like I'm always trying to look a couple years ahead and am working on being more present and pay attention to where I am. It's my hope that some self-directed travel is a good prescription for that!
I don't have access to much funds beyond what I earn in my day work in food service as a bartender. As well, I have yet to establish a wide network in the places I hope to travel to. I was recommended this site and was enticed by the enthusiasm of those who came before me here. It's my hope to use this resource to build my network and utilize the knowledge of the hosts I'm able to find!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My experience with cocktails has introduced me to flavours and combinations I had always written off. It's allowed me to become creative and quick in building new recipes and creating an experience with it! It's helped me in my cooking, which makes cooking an interactive and fun time as opposed to a chore.
As well as my experience in martial arts has taught me an immense amount; though I cannot claim correctness in much of the philosophy I'm more than happy to share the lessons I had learned!
