Hey, my names Mickey and I was born and raised in Southeast Alaska (Glacier Bay National Park, Gustavus, and Skagway). I recently graduated from the University of Alaska Fairbanks with a Mining Engineering degree. I'm a bush pilot and have a few of my own planes. I'm pretty easily talked into bad ideas or adventures and I'm always up for making new friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The more friends you have the more fun! I've found that you can have a good time anywhere if you are with good people. When you visit a city and have somebody to show you the area you always end up having more fun, making more friends, and saving a little money.

Interests

I'm an outdoorsy guy who loves Aviation, skiing, exploring, engines, and anything that explodes or goes fast. I'm also a nerd who's spent far too much time playing World of Warecraft and listening to Podcasts at work. I'm a hybrid nerd/jock to put it in short.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Growing up in a small Alaskan town only accessible by bush plane has led to some pretty unique stories and adventures most haven't heard before. I'm low maintenance and always willing to help out around the house.

If you ever end up in Southeast Alaska I'll be more than willing to provide a flight seeing tour in my personal Bush Plane.
