I have travelled around the world. I love meeting people and doing things off the beaten track. I also love hiking. One of my favorite hikes was to hike down the Grand Canyon and stay at the Phantom Lodge at the bottom! I have also hiked in India and I definitely want to do that again! I love staying in hostels when I travel, so that I can meet people from around the world. Last year I went to Merida, Yucatan in Mexico and stayed at a hostel there that was amazing: free cooking classes, yoga, and salsa lesson!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really want to travel on quick trips for my sanity, but right now my budget is not allowing me to do so. This is a way to meet friendly people who understand the need for travel, and can provide a free place for me to do so.

I worked in Calcutta, India as a volunteer when Mother Teresa was alive. I actually hung out with her!
