About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to travel the world. To step foot on every continent and meet as many people as I can. Live every second like its my last until I have reached eternal satisfaction.

ABOUT ME

Ok where to begin... I was born, raised and well, still live in Castle Hill, a suburb in the western parts of Sydney. For the majority of my life, I've wanted to travel to all the corners of the world and meet everybody on the way. It was in September 2006 that I learnt about this website from a cousin who traveled to France, and since then, started planning my first trip overseas.

I'm about 6"2', I'm very fun loving and i love to party; to learn new things and to socialize with all kinds of people. I've always wanted to learn a second language, but never really had enough time to commit to it. So I decided that I would take 2007 off University and travel Europe.
I'm studying at the University of Western Sydney, enrolled in the Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication course. I really enjoy designing in all its forms, from digital work with computers, to photography and the likes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

From July - December 2007, Myself and one friend will be travelling all over Europe, stepping foot in 15 different countries. I will be not be staying in any hotels, motels, hostels or camps; no, I will be couchsurfing my entire way through Europe. I will be taking photos, recording videos and writing blogs of every step I take throughout this trip, and upon my return on December 5th, I will commence a Video/Movie of how couchsurfing can change peoples lives, and show the world what kind of experience CS is, and the impact it has on the rest of our lives!

Interests

What interests me most, is getting to know people, and learn what they have to teach. In other words, socializing and partying!

I'm very interested in design, mainly in Digital Media and Photography; computers and networking; sports such as soccer and cricket (indoor and outdoor) and water sports (wakeboarding/scuba diving/snorkeling); online computer games and strategy games; paintball (skirmish); going to the gym.

At the moment, I pass my time by playing poker online and in the Australian Poker League (APL) on a regular basis, going to the gym as much as possible (around my work and family commitments) and playing indoor soccer every Sunday night. It was all just a scheme to get my mum off my back about not doing exercise, but I really enjoy the physically tough activities.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
I can never have enough music. At school growing up, I could never study unless I had music playing. I'm mostly into Rock/House/Dance/Trance. Going clubbing or to band gigs is one of the best experiences there is to have. I'm not really into the RnB scene but I'm always willing to listen to it if others want to.
My favorite all time band is Pearl Jam. Since their first album until now, I've always listened to their stuff. I'm also following some DJ's who I really like such DJ Hixxy and Dirty South.

Movies:
Nothing beats a good movie. Some of my favourites are the Star Wars series, Ong Bak, Pulp Fiction, V for Vendetta, Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, Kill Bill.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've done was on a trip up the coast that involved snorkeling and scuba diving. Being that close to sharks and exotic fish, being able to touch turtles and dig up buried things is a sensation that doesn't come too often.
Probably the hardest thing I've done is drive from the top of the east Australian coast to the Bottom, from the tip of Queensland, to the toes of Victoria, stopping to see everything and everyone on the way.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
When it comes to teaching, I'm still young and have never been in another culture other than my own, so I wouldn't be the best for teaching, unless it was how to cook a great BBQ!

Learn:
I'm a fast learner, and want to learn as much as I can from as many corners of the world that I can get to. I want to learn how to cook in France, speak different dialects of Persian, learn soccer tricks in South America, learn how to drink beer like a German and how to dance like they do in festivals across Europe!

Share:
I want to share my love for life. Share my experiences and stories, share my mums cooking techniques, share my drinking games.
