About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Seeking huge and small adventures and learn from life.
ABOUT ME
I am a Dutch woman who loves to travel but I don't like being a tourist. I enjoy being out in nature: it gives that feeling of peace and works well for creativity. I take life seriously, but do as well enjoy humor and small talk. I love learning from life and from other people from all over the world. I am active, love doing sports as mountainbiking, running and hiking. I enjoy the company of my friends but need some time alone as well.
I enjoy healthy food, eat mostly vegetarian, but do drink wine (love it).
PHILOSOPHY
Be positive. Be open to learn. Keep searching for truth, explore and live your life according to who you are and what you need. That's it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I live too small to be able to host properly, although I have hosted people who were in need.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I enjoy the hospitality of the Couchsurfers and the 'uniqueness' of the experience. I have also enjoyed WWOOFing, which has the same concept as couchsurfing, allbeit that it includes working on organic farms.
Interests
Deep conversations with strangers and friends.
Gathering unique experiences.
Laughing with anyone or myself.
Nature/mother earth/sustainability: yes, we need more of this focus.
Psychology; humans are weird.
Animals/wildlife: let's work harder for them.
Religions: hmm.. are they any good?
Philosophy: I need more philosophy in my life.
