About Me

Hiya!

I'm Miela, an Aus nomad photographer/ climber.

I really appreciate: feeling small in incredible natural environments (climbing, trekking, mountaineering) spontaneous connections, side-quests, general silliness, creating art, cooking.

Some ridiculous things I have done recently: living out of a 4x4 in Patagonian Autumn (wind and rain ≠ fantastic for car life), boat-hitchhiking from Panama to Colombia, Motorcycle Licence in Colombia.

Very open to skillshares, always happy to chat but am respectful of hosts' space/time. Happy to lend a hand and help in any way possible.

Dream missions around the world: complete a psychology degree in Germany. Hike New Zealand top to Bottom. Bikepack or motorbike pack Southeast Asia, the 'stans', the mongolian steppe. Climb Denali.

Will try (almost) everything at least once!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To share.
To get to know places from more local perspectives and hopefully make lasting connections.
To connect with other travellers!
Connect with local and fellow traveller communities.

Looking to connect with people, learn, share skills, knowledge, ideas, art, culture, a drink, a meal, a game, a joke...a dance battle? You name it.
