ABOUT ME

Through films, teaching and traveling, Mien.ly searches for love, for justice, for equality, for diversity, for humanity, for herself. As a profession, she is a cross between a teacher, a trainer and a filmmaker. She sees in a spectrum of lights and thinks that the world is more beautiful for the rainbow. Her new found mission in life is to learn how to live sustainably and hope to live in an eco-village one day. She is currently raising funds to make a movie, support and contribute at www.filembegsiapa.com

I've been hosting people at my couch in Brighton and it's been lovely. I've surfed all around Europe and everyone has been amazing!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i've been arrested for standing up for human rights, gassed for documenting demonstrations, climbed Mount Kinabalu, backpack by myself through Cambodia, Spain and Portugal, foundeded herstorymalaysia.com and traveled through europe for 3 months on 10 euros a day - almost, but it was a valiant effort!

Teach, Learn, Share

i can teach you how to make some Malaysian dishes, and of course converse on human rights, gender and sexuality issues if you like, or share some basic tips on filmmaking. if you have a garden or a farm, i'm happy to work the land if you teach me how! :)
