ABOUT ME

I recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies. I am taking a “gap year” to travel and learn from good people in Denmark, India, Uganda, Tanzania, and China. I’m volunteering and usually stay a month or more at each place. I am interested in education, life skills, psychology, and sociology – and we’ll see where it leads me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Staying with people enriches your travels so much. Meeting people is enough of a reason to travel :). And it provides great opportunities at low cost. Once I get settled, I also hope to host other couchsurfers too.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

I like different types of music for different occasions, but while I work I listen to Imogen Heap, Enya, John Denver, and The Piano Guys.

I like movies that touch me and make me see the world from a new perspective… Another Earth, Life is Beautiful, The Hedgehog.

I mostly read to learn, but for fun I really like the Hunger Games.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent the night in a canoe in the middle of a lake under the stars with some others.
