Movies: Love cinema, I like good movies and SciFi movies (even bad ones :P). The Matrix, Shawnshank redemption, Lobster, The Dark Knight, Pulp Fiction...

Books: Wikipedia, Ender's game, Lord of the rings, The pillars of the Earth, The name of the wind...

I once put a pen inside a beer bottle, by throwing it from the other side of the room. And it was on purpose... I think that's pretty amazing.

Improvised an excursion at night to a mountain in northern Norway to see the Northern Lights (no guide, no map, no internet...) We saw them and came back alive (a bit cold though, wasn't dangerous really, but pretty cool).
