ABOUT ME

I am professional cartoonist and amateur artist in general: I like to write, play bass and guitar, act ... but I need time to do all these things well. If I have to chose, what I enjoy most is the acting, because it's a creative experience and a life experience at the same time. I work at home and I feel comfortable with it, but maybe to balance I am eager to share experiences with friends and all kinds of people the rest of the time. Knowing the lives and impressions of other people feed me, enriches me, renew me. Otherwise artist surely would have been a biologist, I marvel at the variety of strategies invented to perpetuate life, although I have to declare decidedly urbanite, by social and cultural stimuli that the city puts at my disposal. Almost all piques my curiosity, science, arts, history, other cultures ... and I say "almost" because something like football, for example, supremely bored me. In general I prefer to play the sports than watch them on TV, I practice it more for having fun than for compete or get physically fit.

Soy dibujante de profesión y artista aficionado en general: me gusta escribir, tocar el bajo y la guitarra, actuar... pero me falta tiempo para hacer bien todas estas cosas. Si tengo que decantarme, lo que más disfruto y de forma más inmediata es la interpretación, porque es un acto creativo que al mismo tiempo es una experiencia vital, detalle importante que le falta a las artes plásticas. Trabajo en casa y suelo estar a gusto conmigo mismo, sin embargo, quizá para compensar, el resto del tiempo estoy ávido de intercambiar experiencias con amigos y todo tipo de gente. Conocer las vidas e impresiones de otras personas me alimenta, me enriquece, me renueva. De no ser dibujante seguramente habría sido biólogo, me maravilla la variedad de estrategias que inventa la vida para perpetuarse, aunque tengo que declararme decididamente urbanita, por los estímulos sociales y culturales que la ciudad pone a mi alcance. Casi todo despierta mi curiosidad: ciencias, artes, historia, otras culturas… y digo "casi" porque algo como el fútbol, por ejemplo, me aburre soberanamente. En general prefiero practicar los deportes que verlos en la tele, los practico más por jugar y divertirme que por competir o conseguir forma física.
