Sobre mí

Hello everyone! I'm a guy from a Portugal that is eager to learn and try new things, always full of ideas to share, and I believe my raison d'être involves music and travelling! To know the world is to connect with people and understand them, and music is the universal language that will brings us closer together. :)

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

'Cus I just love to travel, mostly! But if I also have the opportunity to meet new people, and know the inside "scoops" of the places I visit, the better :) Sharing experiences is one of the great things in life, and with fellow travellers is even better in my book!

Intereses

I like to travel (obviously), read, ride my bycicle and mainly listen to music and play instruments. I've been in small bands and always loved it! I play guitar and bass, but am also learning at the time some drums and didgeridoo. :D

I've done some gimnastics many years ago, and still like activities where I push my body's limits. I also tried kickboxing, canoeing and I'm currently doing dancing (Lindy Hop and Blues).

Música, películas y libros

In music, my tastes are varied. I mostly like rock and metal, particularly progressive metal, but I like some pop-rock and punk, sometimes listen to some electronic music, especially drum and bass, and other types of world music like celtic, bossa nova and traditional australian music.

Algo increíble que he hecho

This last summer, I went on a particularly great trip to Eastern Europe with a few friends (went to Hungary, Poland and Austria). When I was in Krakow, Polland, I went to visit an undergound salt mine with many chambers carved in salt, including a church and a whole cathedral, even with the Last Supper's "painting" carved in salt, and then went to a very classy restaurant deep in the salt mine! :D

Enseña, aprende, comparte

What I can teach people is mainly connected to my deep love of music! I'm into music and sound, and how it connects to us. I can teach how to play guitar and bass, and I'm interested in all kinds of instruments! I can also teach some things about the country and Lisbon, which I also really like.

I feel like I'm learning all the time when I'm having people over, because I like to talk and share experiences. One time I had some couchsurfers, a couple, and they arrived at midnight. When we found out me and the guy liked Magic the Gathering we stayed up really late talking about it. :)

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

If people come here, I can show them around the city, because even living in a Lisbon for a few years, there's still many things to discover, and I like to discover them with the people I meet. We can share thoughts, opinions (I really like long talks about important topics and ideas), and can always share some songs with them. :)
