About Me
Hey there,
I've always found quite hard to describe myself, but I can start telling you I'm originally from Venezuela and I've been living in Germany for almost two years now while doing my masters. I consider myself to be very open-minded and optimistic and my friends always say I can offer good advice (they even say I should have a blog for that).
I really enjoy travelling and getting the feel of new places, either if they're big cities, small towns, mountains our beaches. So I can enjoy everything from a bar or a cosy café to a long hike in the mountains and camping trips.
Sadly, I haven't been able to travel as much as I would like, but I try to take every small opportunity I can. As Van Gogh once said, "Great things are not done by impulse, but by a series of small things brought together" :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think Couchsurfing is a great way to really get to know the places you visit, either from the hand of somebody who has lived there their whole life, or somebody who has been there for a few months. I think the experience you get when you get to know the locals is way richer than the one you get when doing only tourist activities. Don't get me wrong, I also like tourist activities ;), but locals seem to know their way around better, and they always know the best places to go

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Definitely has to be coming to Germany to do my masters. It was the first time I was away from my country for so long, and it has been an incredible experience! I've got to know a lot of amazing people and travel a bit (way less than I would like).
Teach, Learn, Share
I really enjoy sharing with my hosts and guests on a personal level. I think of myself as a very open person to discuss and I'm not afraid to talk about deep or complicated subjects.
I also like to learn about your perspective of the world, maybe get to know about the place we are from your eyes. I enjoy learning about new cultures and their artistic expressions and their history.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I really like cooking, so I could offer you a nice meal! I also like having conversations and going for drinks. If you're into it, I can help you with your Spanish, maybe also with your English or French (However, you may have to help me with my German).
