Overview
About Me
23 year-old creative programmer from Slovenia, currently working at a design agency in Sweden. Had a pretty regular life until the end of high school, then my life started spinning out of control - though in a good way! The university I went to made it possible for me to live in United Arab Emirates, China, and the US during my studies, and visiting so many new places just made me super curious, about people and their ways, about life in all forms. Live music is my thing, so are hummus and shawerma, friendly soccer matches, programming and design, debates on anything ranging from politics of gender and architecture to the Premier League, and spontaneous hikes into nature. I also like to go out and dance like a fool.

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC
I absolutely love music, listening to it on my phone, going to concerts/festivals, also playing (I play drums). Don't have a specific genre I prefer over others, and I can enjoy an electronic dance piece as much as a classical one, but here's some artists I like a lot: Tycho, Bonobo, Four Tet, Maggie Rogers, Kendrick Lamar, Chance the Rapper, Vulfpeck, Arctic Monkeys, Youngblood Brass Band.
MOVIES
This is tough too, mostly because it's hard for me to quickly recall the movies I really liked when I saw them. Here's an attempt, though, of those that I can remember - Her, The Game, Memento, The Shining, Casablanca, No Country For Old Men, Amores Perros, Great Budapest Hotel, Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou. Also if we're talking documentaries, definitely Citizenfour by Laura Poitras, please watch it.
BOOKS
Since I'm away from home a lot I try to read Slovenian authors as much as possible, but listing them would not be informative at all, and of the international ones, the only ones that come to mind are The Great Gatsby, Fame by Daniel Kehlmann, Master and Margarita by Bulgakov, Dead Souls by Gogol, Season of Migration to the North by Tayeb Salih, The Committee by Sonallah Ibrahim.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ran into Mack Zuckerberg during my climb to the Great Wall of China. We actually got face to face and I asked him if he could take a picture with me but he said he was too busy so him and his entourage just walked past. Then I wanted to at least take a picture of him so my friends would believe that I saw him, but his security guard told me that I couldn't do it because it was apparently a private event (who thought Mark cared so much about privacy, right?). What's interesting, though, is that both Mark and I chose to visit that specific spot of the Great Wall in part because there's a toboggan slide there that you can take to descend from the Wall. I was done with my visit by then, so after seeing Mark I wanted to take the ride down, but it turned out, so did he! So i saw him get ready and sit in a small cart, at the end of the group there was his security guard again, I pleaded him to at least let me record Mark while he speeds down, and he actually said I could once he'd take off. So I managed to get a video of Mark Zuckerberg taking a toboggan ride from the Great of Wall of China :) (also, here's an official image of that private event, just so you can confirm I'm not a loon: http://digitalspyuk.cdnds.net/16/12/980x490/landscape-1458659642-showbiz-mark-zuckerberg-toboggan.jpg)
