My name is Miha, I'm studying medicine in Ljubljana (Slovenia). I would say I'm a pretty regular guy, I like to meet new people, have deep conversations with them and get to know their way of life (as much as my foreign language vocabulary will allow). I am a bit nerdy - I am very curious and interested in anything related to science or nature, I like to play video games and watch movies. I couldn't live without my bike, which I use even when we have 20cm of snow - I basically don't know how to walk :D I like water in general, be it snow when i ski or snowboard, liquid when I scuba-dive and collect seashells where most poeple don't have enough breath to go to and steam, because I love to cook and eat good food ! I like to go to the mountains in summer because it is so calm and remote and I can relax in peace when no one is bothering me. I also like to sing, I play guitar in a guitar orchestra as a part of my university. So yeah, I am always open to new ideas and people ! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think if you are traveling somewhere you don't really get to know the place unless you meet some locals or people that live there for a longer time. I remember a holiday in a resort in Djerba, Tunisia, where our whole world was limited just to the hotel and it was awful - so I try as kuch as i can to immerse myself more in the place I'm going to and I would like to give something back to the cummunity who feels the same (as soon as I get my own place to live...)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to listen to rock music, metal and classical music, but I don't mind listening to anything else if its good music.
I try to read as much as I can. My current goal is to read some books my friend recommended to get some sense of general philosophy.
Hehe the genre of movies I'm not particulary fond of is horror (Saw movies excluded :D), I like sci-fi, comedy, depends on the day
