I like to meet people from all around the world! I always anxious to randomly approach people - so I need the right setting.
Also, I may need a place to stay at some point in my student-life. Couchsurfing offers a more "real" view of the life of the places I would visit - interacting with the locals makes any experience in a foreign land that much more interesting.
