About Me

Hello!

I'm Mihailo, a passionate explorer from Belgrade, Serbia. I love meeting new people from diverse cultures and am always thrilled by the prospect of exchange and learning. I've just started using Couchsurfing and I'm hoping to have incredible experiences, both as a guest and as a host.

I'm a software engineer by profession but my curiosity isn't limited to the digital realm. I have a deep love for literature, hiking, philosophy, psychology and music. When I'm not buried in code, I'm usually out on a trail, with my nose in a book, or playing with my drums.

My place is a small, cozy apartment, but don't let the size fool you, it's filled with warmth and hospitality. I'm a pretty easy-going guy and I always aim to make my guests feel as comfortable as possible. I enjoy showing people around my city, and sharing recommendations for some of my favorite local spots (especially the underrated ones!).

My favorite part of each journey is connecting with local people and tasting their cuisine. I believe in immersing myself in the culture and lifestyle of the places I visit, and I always carry those experiences with me.

If you're visiting Belgrade or if I'm visiting your city, I'd love to swap stories, share meals, and create memorable experiences together. Let's expand our horizons, learn from each other, and make the world feel a little bit smaller, one couch at a time.

Happy travels!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I truly believe in the power of connecting with locals when traveling and sharing a slice of our own culture when hosting. It's a unique platform that brings people from all walks of life together, fostering understanding, empathy, and lifelong friendships. My aim is not just to see the world, but to experience it through the eyes of the people who live in it, and to give others the same opportunity when they visit my city.
