I'm a Korean. I was born in Jeju island which is popular place for traveling in Korea. :) I'm a university student and majoring in chemistry. Now, I’m living in Toronto(Canada)to improve my English and experience new things. I am passionate about traveling, adventures and intercultural encounters.
I'm a person who loves art and music so I love going to museums, live music bars and concerts. The follow things make me feel happy. I also wanna try extreme sports , such as Sky diving, Kayaking, Paragliding which make me feel alive! I try to live my life happy , and I have a lot of bucket lists that I hope to experience and learn! The most thing that I wanna do is traveling all over the world and live in many countries as much as I can.
*Btw, the dress that I wear in a main photo is Korean traditional clothes, and it called 'Hanbok'! Hanbok is the representative example of traditional Korean dress so I really love wearing Hanbok. If you want to wear hanbok, we can go to try it together and visit Korean traditional palaces!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Whenever I traveled, I thought "Just visiting some places which are popular only for travelers is not a real trip." , and I'd like to experience a real culture and atmosphere in local restaurants, cafes and some places. But I don't know people who live in a place where I travel so I think couchsurfing is really good method to meet many people and make new friends. I love learning cultures, histories and about many countries and also exchanging cultures each other.

Music, Movies, and Books

1.Music
Mostly, I love all type of music genres. I usually listen to pop music, hip hop, jazz and k pop.
2.Movie
I love action movies ,and I'm a big fan of marvel comics and dc comics. My favorite characters are Iron man and batman. After I watched 'La la land', I fell in love with movies which have beautiful colors. For example, la la land and midnight in Paris. If you know like that movies, please let me know.
3.Book
My favorite book is "Harry potter" ,and I have been watched harry potter movies every year again. When I read it at first, I was 7 or 8 like that age(I can't remember actually) and I was shocked because it was like a revolution for me at that time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 11 years old, my teacher introduced and read a book for me and my friends in a class. The book name was 'John's dream list'(Korean is like that meaning)

It was a story about John goddard's life lists and in that book I can see what things are in his lists. After I was heard the book by a teacher, I bought that book and I also wrote some bucket lists. Thanks to my teacher and the book, I become a person who has many life lists.

Teach, Learn, Share

In our meet, I hope to share means thing which talk to life ,idea, experience and now-how. I hope to listen to your story. I'm learning English and it's slowly improving so if my host is from a English speaking country or generally can speak English. I'd be glad to try and speak English as I want to improve further!The same goes the other way around, if you as a host want to speak Korean.
I have also traveled a few times , and if you are interested in talking about traveling. I would love to share about my experiences while travelling, and hear about yours too!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will share the story about my life and Korea culture life. For example, looking traditional market, eat real Korean food and playing Korean drinking games. If you want to go art center or see live music I gladly go to there with you. If you interested in Korean, I can teach some Korean words for you. I love sharing travel experiences each other because traveling always makes me feel fun. If a host needs a help like cooking, dish washing etc, I would also be happy to help out. That's the least I can do and I promise your kind to return when I visit my country.
