Hi!

We are two friends interrailing Europe during this summer. We are primarily trying to find places to stay with the couchsurfing-app, since we're on a tight student budget and it would be an opportunity to meet local hosts. (sorry for the cs-joke) 🙈

Here are quick introductions of us:

Miikka:

Hello! I'm Miikka, a 24-year-old Computer Science univerity student from Helsinki, Finland. I am doing my master's studies at the moment, majoring in Machine Learning. I play all kinds of sports, mainly basketball and football. I enjoy talking to people about all subjects and learning new things. Topics I enjoy talking of include spiritualism, how to live a good life and consciousness. My dream is to start my own company to help fight climate change.

Ramzi:

I am a 23-year-old energy- and environmental engineering student from Aalto University. I am starting my masters in energy engineering in September. I am a cheerful and an outgoing person. I love talking with people, hearing their stories and dreams. I have always liked playing competitive sports. For this summer I have enjoyed playing lots of volleyball, tennis and spikeball. Other things I love to do are painting and reading. I have enjoyed interrailing so far and I feel like I am at my happiest at the moment living a nomad lifestyle. I believe couchsurfing would be a great opportunity to try out new things and meet new people!

We have never truly couchsurfed, but it sounds like a ton of fun. It would be nice to get to know the host and get the local insights to the city we're visiting. It goes without saying that we'll be very respectful and help you in any way. We have sleeping bags with us and we both love animals, so they are not a problem. We have a ukelele so down to sing-a-long and jam!
