Hello, I'm Mika! I'm currently living in Osaka, Japan but am originally from the US. I backpacked around Europe and Asia for a year back in 2018 and did a lot of couchsurfing and WWOOFing (volunteer farming). It was an amazing, exciting adventure and I'd love to get back into it! All of the hosts I stayed with were such interesting, kind people who showed me many different ways of living and seeing the world. I really cherish the experiences and memories I have with everyone.

I'd say I'm a pretty easy going person who's down to hang out as much or as little as you want!

I'm available to host someone for one night max here in Osaka. My place is a bit strict so you'd have to leave my place when I'm not home but message me if you think it could work! (Women only sorry!)

Some things I love: Muay Thai, cooking, eating and drinking with people, dancing to music, being outside, reading, old movies, swimming and much more!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love seeing how people live their everyday lives in different places and getting to be a part of that for a moment. I also think it's so beautiful to have trust in random people to live and spend time together randomly. Also building a community of people around the world that I would love to visit again or have come visit me is a beautiful thing :)
