A 28 year old teacher spending my time teaching high school students civics and geography. Want to see all the world. But I do it slowly, there is plenty of time and I do it part by part.
I spend a lot of time on my bicycle. I like my bike.
Being a human means being an individual. It also means being part of not one but plenty of communities. I think one of the most important but hardest things in life is the balancing act between those. Communicate to pople and enjoy all the possibilities of being being a social animal, but think for yourself and don't give up everything for the collective.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travelers in Spain told me about CS the summer of 2006. Since then I've hosted interesting people from different parts of the world a few times. On my own travels CS has been a fantastic tool to help me meet up with fantastic people.
Music, long walks, reading, playing online scrabble and spending time doing nothing with my friends.
Music, Movies, and Books
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
#1 Walking/swimming in the mud in the Danube delta, Romania.
#2 Hitch hiking to Rosia Montana without a plan about what to do really and then finding a wonderful host and a guide/translator. The best days of my travelling 2007!
Teach, Learn, Share
