We are positive, friendly, creative, openminded people who are on a big adventure around the world! We love meeting new people and learning about new countries, traditions, anything different!! We enjoy music, anything creative, photography, nature, walking, cycling, swimming with whale sharks (recently found passion, in Panama!!), but also relaxing with a movie or a book.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are travelling for about a year and a half and have found the best travel experiences are when you get to know the place as a local, rather than as a tourist, meeting new people and new places!

Music- alot of different things... elbow, imogen heap, air, muse, jose gonzalez, regina spector, beth orton, gomez, james blake, jeff buckley, beatles, radiohead, simon and garfunkel, moby, lamb, portishead, vampire weekend and many more... mikala loves motown, michael jackson, james brown and dancing to it all!

Mikala likes reading anything fictional.. (sometimes nonfiction), particularly anything a little fantasy or sci fi. Jesse enjoys reading anything... a favourite- Life of Pi
