About Me

CURRENT MISSION

spreading love and sharing creative passion, seeking a better idea of how to move through the world alone

ABOUT ME

i am an adventurous and conscious person, very laid back, an excellent listener :) i enjoy hiking, camping, biking, farming, cooking, filmmaking, juggling, fire dancing, meditation and exploring the unknown. i tend to gravitate towards artist/ farming communities, and developing beautiful and creative relationships with all of those i meet.

PHILOSOPHY

the things you are most afraid of are the ones most worth doing......we all control how we give and receieve energy, and the most incredible energy exchanges truly do happen all the time. i believe in being aware of these moments. Miracles are everywhere. i am very interested in self inquiry and meditation, working in the dreamtime (this could mean many things) and helping others discover their own wisdom with these tools.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have couch surfed a few places and had many great experiences. I hosted a couple surfers while living in Moab, Utah. Oh yeah, recently, living in Hawaii, I helped host a movie screening of the couch surfing documentary, One Couch at a Time by Alexandria Niss. Check it out, its awesome!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The most notable couch surfing was in Portland and it was the most fantastic expereience of my summer train trip on the west. The girls i stayed with invited on the world's largest naked bike ride.. 1500 naked people on bikes in portland! love it!

Interests

I enjoy alternative cinema, film festivals, ultimate frisbee, juggling and all circus arts, fire dancing, slacklining (like tight rope walking) biking, hiking, coffee shops, cooking delicious healthy foods, studying the Dharma, shamanism, plant medicine, tarot, Kirtan, playing piano, and singing anytime!

Music, Movies, and Books

I've studied in depth experimental cinema, and documentary film. I'm always open to experience new kinds of films. I love the filmmakers Werner Herzog, David Lynch, Miranda July, Harmonie Korine, Lars Von Trier, and more!

i usually find myself reading more nonfiction than anything... i cant get enough :)
music: Medicine for the People, Bon Iver, Indian chanting, kaki king, calexico, animal collective, latin music, afro cuban, bjork, segur ros, some acoustic folk

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In India I juggled for about 1000 children from the slums in Ahmedabad, and to see their inspired faces was amazing! While recently living in Hawaii, i had many opportunities to swim with wild spinner dolphins, they are our cetacean counterparts, and they are full of LOVE.

Teach, Learn, Share

as they say in argentina, que se yo? what do i know? i usually feel this way... and that being said, I have oodles of things to teach once you get to know me. I teach filmmaking and juggling, cooking, nutrition, tools for self inquiry, and how to become a fellow lover of reality.
