ABOUT ME

Traveling is in my blood and the road is where I belong and feel most comfortable.
I can be a bit shy/hard to get close to and I'm much better at listening than talking (mostly because I'm not used to anyone actually wanting to listen to me, story of my life, ask me about it), I think that maybe sometimes I come off as uninterested or shallow but I'm really quite the opposite. Always a ton of thoughts running through my head.
I love photography, mostly film photography, I love a good beat to a song, I love good food and people that are open minded and generous, those who are excited by differences and see those as learning opportunities.
Personality type ISFP, couldn't be more accurate.
I'm gay and always trying to be openminded and kind, I will lay down what I'm doing if anyone else needs me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't been active for a while now since I was living at home and working a lot, but I hope to be more active now, surfing and meeting up with people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've co-hosted for a few couchsurfers in our shared flat in Oslo back in 09/10, and then we had a lovely Aussie girl over and she completely converted me to it! Since then I've surfed in Dublin and in 2012 me and said Aussie surfed in Italy!

Interests

I'd say my interests are more than can be fit into this box, but I'll try to break it down:
Traveling, I have this aching need in my chest that wants to find HOME. Haven't found it yet.
Looking at the clouds, the stars, the Northen lights is awesome. Going out in the rain, saying yes to do something that's scary.

People, music, food, photography, bicycling, skiing. Movies are always better in the cinema. Going to a play, a performance, a concert or staying in bed for days on end stuck in a good book.
Doing things that make me happy. I also really love making others smile.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being blessed by brother Roger in the Taizé monastery in France. If there is such a thing as aura, he had it. I'd say he was glowing. It was such a powerful experience that it left me speechless for hours.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think it's important to always keep an objective view on yourself - can you be better/stronger/kinder? Try to always challenge yourself and never stop growing!
