About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To create lasting friendships and have great times, at home and abroad.
ABOUT ME
We are a unique, creative, queer couple residing in a newly acquired awesome apartment in Brooklyn with our 8 animals. Yes, we said 8. :)
Michelle considers music to be an action verb as well as her religion. She is vegan and very involved with all natural nutrition and health. She has done freelance work with infants and toddlers for about ten years and continues to enjoy her work in that field. She is looking to expand her career further through personal studies in sign language and herbal medicine. Michelle really enjoys cooking as well as making her own cleaning products, teas and random creative concoctions. She is queer, gender non-conforming and passionate about LGTBQI issues and rights. She tends to analyze, over-think and generally spend a lot of time in her head. She is very introverted, but in comfortable situations and with close friends can also be very outgoing. She is agnostic but very spiritual; sarcastic and opinionated but tactful. She tends to be extremely observant, frugal, complex, indecisive, particular, independent, dependent, attached, curious, visual, self-conscious, unconventional, emotional, kinesthetic and witty.
Mike is a 3rd generation Brooklynite who continues to constantly discover new places here. He loves biking and hiking, urban safari style. He has had a lot different careers including professional photographer, gardener, theater usher, gender rights activist, CSA organizer and historic house caretaker.
Mike really enjoys meeting new people and gaining new perspectives. He is health minded, vegetarian and tries to live a nature-based life in an urban environment. He loves all kinds of music, live shows and tries to listen to a new band daily. Mike loves quality chocolate and coffee, random inspired conversation, all things DIY, vivid dreams and subtle laughs, pleasure seeking, talking to dogs, making kongs, cooking for his dogs, simplifying, evolving, closed captions, all things GLITTAH, making up bumper sticker and t-shirt slogans and searching for the best lattes, vegan cupcakes, natural ice cream and black and tans. He considers himself extremely blessed, lucky and grateful.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Michelle: Hiked in Flom, Norway through some of the most breathtaking views. fjords and literally dozens of waterfalls.
Mike: Created a vegetable garden on my front lawn in Canarsie that grew into a CSA. Broke and tilled the soil with shovels and people, not power tools.
Teach, Learn, Share
i think this kind of thing is better done in person...
