I grew up in the Chicago area and moved out West at the first chance I got. That happened to be attending the Colorado School of Mines. I have continued to live in the area near Golden, CO ever since leaving Mines and it's been awesome! I have always had a passion for the outdoors and that has only exploded since exploring the different places of Colorado and beyond. I have a ton of different hobbies and I am picking up new ones along the way as well. I am currently working at the Colorado Geological Survey and teaching avalanche education courses on weekends across Colorado. One day I hope to pursue guiding / outdoor education full time..

I used to read a ton of books, lately when I have time it's been nonfiction how-tos and Paulo Coelho
I am pretty diverse in my music tastes but prefer Alternative & Folk Rock. Dabble in almost anything from country to rap.
