About Me
*I kept all the STATUS below to record my travel status in the my couchsurfing years*
I move back to Chengdu, Sichuan province where I left for 12 years. During the past decades, I have been lived in Guangxi, Shanghai, Gansu, Xinjiang and Guangdong due to study and work. Right now my girlfrend and I decide to build our life in Chengdu for the rest of our life.
I have been to all Chinese provinces so I can tell I kindly know many aspects of China. I would like to share my opinions for all travellers as I got many thoughtful ideas from CS when I started it. You can read the 'status' below to know my CS atittude.
Chengdu is an interesting city that you can find only the typical China, but also a very mordern and fancy China. People says Sichuan is the 'Italy in China' because there are many tasty food in Chengdu and Chengduers are very chill and layback. Peoples also describe Chengdu as the 'Atlanta in China' because the underground culture is proseprous here. In all, I'll say Chengdu is Chengdu, it's never been somewhere else, the unique Sichuan cuisine and containable culture alway welcome you. Come, to feel the city!

Status (Feb 2024):
Hi, I know many of you might travel across the silk road and will have a layover in Lanzhou. I am also an expat here as I am trying work and live on the silk road (China side) to deeply understand this great communication route of human history. I have been living in Kashgar(Xinjiang), Yining(Xinjiang), Urumchi(Xinjing, Altay (Xinjiang) and Dunhuang (Gansu) during the past years. I am settling down in Lanzhou for recent years, while you have any question about silk road just feel free to ask.
I have beening work in cultural areas for several years, including cultural education, cultural travel and museum support. Chinese history, Silk Road history, Dunhuangology and Minority Culture(especially silk road ethinics like Uyghur, Kazah, Chinese muslim, Chinese nomads) are my areas. Will be happy to share to all friends who want to know the other side of China.
Actually there is not much thing to do in Lanzhou as it is just a transit hub, 1 day is enough for yellow river and best beef noodles (ramin) in the world! 2 days for other unique cuisine like the Chinese halal food and local Gansu food.
