Hey guys, I'm Mike and I'm from Long Island, New York! I'm an outgoing guy with a love for nature, sports, music, technology, beer, snowboarding and life in general (in no particular order)! I live about an hour away from New York City, and plan on doing a lot more traveling without my parents since I will be graduating college this May! I've always had a love for travel but the countries I've visited have been limited to the Caribbean area. I'm not complaining, the area is beautiful, but I have a desire to meet others from across the pond that live in cities comparable to the one I grew up around!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When doing research for a Eurotrip that my girlfriend and I decided to take after our graduation from college this May, I came across many recommendations to use this site! I hope to become more involved and meet new people that can share their culture! I believe that we have a lot to learn from others' experiences. Once I move out of my parents house this year, I plan on offering up my couch for other surfers as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While visiting Jamaica with my family, me and my cousins rented ATVs and drove up a mountain with some locals. Once we arrived at the top, there was a cliff we could jump off of out into the crystal clear ocean.
