I am a university graduate with a full time career. I was recently bit by the travel bug and spend as much of my free time traveling, both locally within Canada, and internationally.

I am independent and keep very active with my travels, sports, friends, and hobbies.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My favorite part of traveling has always been meeting local residence. Through my previous trips, I made a number of friends around the world and have visited some of them in their home country. The adventure and experience of learning about a city through its local community is second to none. I love exploring the local history, as well as its coffee and beer culture.

I love alternative rock music and electric dance music. However, I am tone deaf and can't even remember the top 20 tracks on the radio.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled through Vietnam by myself and spent three lovely days in a village called Sapa.

I can teach you to climb! I usually travel with my climbing shoes, just in case.
