CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to explore the opportunities that I haven't considered in the past all a around the country. I'm on a 3 month long road trip around the united states and hope to meet nice, friendly, and interesting people on my voyage.

I'm a pretty laid back and outgoing person. I like to meet people (as do all couchsurfers, I'd imagine...), I like to joke around a lot and I like to try new things!

Interests

I love to hike, listen to and play music, read, learn, teach, meet people, and right now I'm learning to rock climb.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love most movies and all different genres but my favorite two movies are probably the shawshank redemption and into the wild.

I also love most types of music but I tend to stay away from heavy metal and I'm gaining an appreciation for country. However my favorite genres of music are classic rock (Stevie Ray Vaughan, Beatles, Pink Floyd, CCR, etc), 90's music of all sorts (barenaked ladies, blues traveler, third eye blind, etc.), and I'm starting to really enjoy more folk rock type music like Alexi Murdoch.

I enjoy reading but I wouldn't say I'm an avid reader like I wish I was. I'm reading a song of ice and fire, Bret Easton Ellis, and anything that can teach me something.

I'm an ok cook and I clean up after myself, but mostly I can offer friendship, good company, and conversation.
