In the spirit of 14th-Century English traveller John Mandeville, my mission is to fail at circumnavigating the globe. Upon reaching his homeland from a quite new perspective, home seemed quite strange to him. He decided to turn around and go at it again.

PHILOSOPHY

I follow the Chris Miles philosophy of life. Chris says - or said rather (may he rest in peace) - time and time again, "fuck it!" when presented with an opportunity for action. The opposite of saying 'no', "Fuck it!" says 'yes' to everything- an affirmation that the world is full of possibilities... for love, happiness, and adventure. For Chris, "fuck it" is best embodied by his hero, Captain Joe Kittinger, an obscure figure in history who flew a foil balloon 20-fucking-miles into the stratosphere and then skydived his way back down, reaching speeds that rival sound itself. The only 'no' I will ever give is to violence of any sort. (I might also say 'no' to the foil balloon thing. That shit's crazy!)
