Im a recovering jock, having spent a formative decade of my life in a vigourous regime of organized sport (I have the scars to prove it). Ive been reading and writing and trying (not always successfully) to recover the gentler side of existence ever since.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Through couch surfing Ive met a lot of great people.

兴趣

I'm into running and traveling. Reading David Foster Wallace must be like breathing pure oxygen. I also have a thing for ghost towns and things historical from about 1850-1930. Graphic novels, street food, Wolf Parade, Modest Mouse, and 1980s or older office equipment acquired at garage sales and thrift stores keeps me getting out of bed in the morning.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Met a nearly deaf Vietnam Vet in a Washington State bar (he was in artillery). He invited us to do some shooting at his trailer the next day so we went to the SUPERMARKET! and bought shotgun shells and hot dog buns and shot clay pigeons for the afternoon while eating microwaved hot dogs.
