About Me

becoming a citizen of the globe!

I am a laid back dude who wants to hang out and meet people from all over the world. I truly enjoy new cultures and experiences. I graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in June 2012 with a degree in Cultural Studies and Comparative Literature. I loved school, and if I could I would go for the rest of my life! but alas, thats tough to do. I love philosophy, literature, music, writing, pretty much all of the liberal arts. I also love traveling, I think in a way its the best education one can get

Meet people, learn from them, and grow as a person. We are all in this together, and I wan't to try my best to understand the perspectives of people, and hopefully become a more fully realized human being in the process

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet people and become a part of this community. When I travel I would like a chance to meet the wonderful people who frequent this website, and when I am not traveling I hope to provide some company or perhaps a couch if possible

none yet really but I have been on the site for awhile

Radiohead. No seriously I love anything radiohead, its kind of an obsession. But other than that, as I sort of laid out above, music, reading, the arts are all a big part of my life. I also love being out in nature when I get the chance, and I love going to new places and doing new things. I always try to have a good time regardless of the situation!

Music, Movies, and Books

RADIOHEAD. If you like radiohead, we will get a long very well. Other music can range as far as Kendrick Lamar, to Led Zepplin, to LCD Soundsystem, Bon IVer. I really like all types of music. Some authors I am currently enjoying are David Foster-Wallace, Vonnegut, and am trying to get into some classics. Movies: anything by Quentin Tarantino, Wes Anderson, lots of others

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A Flaming Lips concert in Chicago during the summer months was pretty amazing. One of the most peaceful, harmonious moments of my life

I guess I can sort of cook... my positive outlook on life is another thing I would love to share with people!
