About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to stop telling myself I can't afford to travel and just go and do it!

ABOUT ME

ALL about me? Well I'm just gonna copy stuff from some of my other profiles already on the internets and see if I can hack together something CS-worthy with that. Sounds good?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As I'm writing this, I'm still very new to CS, but I hope to host and surf and meet interesting people along the way. Montreal's an amazing city that I love to introduce people to (being a tour guide in your own city is the next best thing to traveling!).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only ever couch surfed with friends or friends of friends. Not much experience yet.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't read enough novels, and tend to read design-related books, so I know my novel selections may be rather predictable. I don't watch enough movies at all anymore, but used to watch plenty of good ones and way too many bad ones. I like music a whole bunch.

More specifically, though (and these are difficult things to narrow down!):

Authors: Banana Yoshimoto, John Steinbeck, A. A. Milne, Albert Camus...

Movies: Buffalo 66, Punch Drunk Love, Royal Tenenbaums, 24 Hour Party People, Best In Show...

Music: T. Rex, Curtis Mayfield, the Kinks, Guided By Voices, Ariel Pink, Bob Dylan, Sufjan Stevens, Smog, Palace/Will Oldham/Bonnie Prince Billy, Sly and the Family Stone, Dexy's Midnight Runners, various Swedish indie pop, lots of "difficult"/noisy/no-wavey stuff.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach ya a thing or two about a bicycle.
