About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To keep exploring, learning, sharing and ultimately giving myself bigger and more rewarding challenges. Who knows where and when the next one will be?!

ABOUT ME

Traveller, explorer, snowboarder. Just trying my best to enjoy life. Along the way I hope to discover where I want to settle and what I want to be but until then iI think I'll keep bouncing around the globe. Tried working all day in an office for years.... boooooring
Random info time; black belt in Karate

PHILOSOPHY

I'm constantly looking for the next challenge through hearing recommendations from other travellers, exploring any and all opportunities and just having fun at the end of the day. My friends joke that my catch phrase is 'no reason why not!' so I guess that sums me up

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Yet to participate as I'm a new member but keen to get involved in the events. Look like a perfect way to meet people and try out new activities

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My only experience so far has been trying to complete my profile! During my travels I've met many people along the way who've raved about it so now is the perfect time to give it a go and mix things up a bit!

Interests

Snowboarding became my life after moving to Canada and that has lead to other outdoor pursuits like hiking, cross country biking and rock climbing. Being from England, football naturally runs through my blood (don't let me hear you call it s*ccer!) and there's nothing better than a kick about with mates down the park. Love a bit of live music, from rock to blues and country to dub. These are all surpassed though by my huge bout of wanderlust. Travelling right now is what I live for. Thinking about it, half of the reason I love travelling is trying all the food! Guess I'm a bit of a foodie and I love rustling up a big meal for friends

Music, Movies, and Books

I've just read Bear Grylls autobiography, a great read while travelling. He broke his back then climbed everest. It's a good thing to think about when you come close to giving up on a challenge. Just started reading Mike Tyson too, pretty brutal so far!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Gazing out across the great Wall of China. Pretty special. Then took a somewhat dangerous luge all the way to the bottom.

Teach, Learn, Share

I navigated through China on my own which was pretty difficult. If anyone is planning a trip there I can definitely advise on how to survive and make the most of it, even without learning Chinese!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to think I've got some pretty cool stories, plus I can show you how to make the perfect cup of tea!
