About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My current mission is to try to see as much of the world as possible while I'm still young (which I plan on being until I'm six feet under). I would like to find fun people to show me how they work and play in cities around the world.
ABOUT ME
I'm a fairly simple person in my actions but my interests vary far and wide. I love learning about cultures and can spend hours exploring wikipedia pages regarding language, food, history, costume, etc.
PHILOSOPHY
I try to live my life as authentically as possible. I don't like it when people don't mean what they say (i.e. when aquaintences say "let's hang out sometime!!!1" but then you never hear back from them). I strive to only say the things I mean, enjoy the things I enjoy, and help others to do the same.
I also try to be considerate of other people at all times, golden rule really applies here.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've hosted Couchsurfers in previous years, will want to convince my current roommates to start having guests in Chicago!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Experience is growing, I've successfully hosted many couchsurfers.
Interests
I'm interested in folk and Balkan music, fiction fantasy novels, learning languages, expanding vocabulary in my native toungue, eating delicious food, not using the word "amazing," training gymnastics, exploring unknown parts of my own neighborhood, chatting up locals.

Music, Movies, and Books
Very picky about movies.
I love music very much and my tastes venture to music that is not consumed deafly (see what I did there?) by the masses. This includes folk music, electo-pop, Balkan, and anything ethnic/cultural.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was an observer/participant in a Russian protest after the 2011 parliamentary elections. The experience is too long to be written but being part of a tangible part of the changing political and cultural climate was a fantastic moment in my life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A healthy dose of gratitude and an unhealthy dose of food and wine.
