'ello everyone! My name is Mike and I'm from the States living in Germany since Aug. 2013. 26 years old and I studied Automotive Engineering...that's about it. I'm pretty easy going. Just trying to see the world and experience new things and meet new people.

I have surfed a few times and attended meetings. I also host occasionally. I've only had positive experiences! I really like the Couchsurfing culture

Every time I surf it's a good experience. I love meeting new people and hearing their stories and where they come from.

Interests

Love to snowboard and I am a big petrol head. I like riding motorcycles and have recently gotten into the craft beer scene. I homebrew as well as have my own YouTube channel.

Music, Movies, and Books

Comedy movies mostly; Sandler, Carry, and Ferrell movies are the best!

As for Music, if it has a guitar in it I'm satisfied. 90s one-hit-wonders are my favorite though. Also a big fan of Nirvana and the Foo Fighters

Not a huge reader but I'm definitely a fan of John Green. It also helps that he comes from my hometown of Indianapolis.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I really enjoy driving. I've taken some pretty cool road trips in the few years I've been graced with the permission to do so. When I was in college, my best friend and I drove from Indiana to Colorado...straight through. It took about 22 hours but the whole drive was pretty awesome! Plus we went snowboarding once we got there.

Since I've been in Europe, I've gotten to drive the Nordschleife at Nürburgring, which was on my list of "things to do before I die" as well as took a road trip from Germany to Lake Como in Italy which was hands down one of the most beautiful drives I've ever taken.

With work I also travel a lot and have been to the artic circle as well as Death Valley and everything inbetween.
