Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I'm currently making my way through Europe. Started out in London but typically stayed at hostels. I've meet a lot of people who told me their were couchsurfing but I never took the time to set up an account. I just figured or assumed it wasn't for me until I was invited by my friend Steffan on a train from Belgrade to Sofia, Bulgaria to stay the night.

When I first started out in London, booking hostels was part of the weekly routine but after awhile I stopped researching and planning because the plethora of competition from searching hostel in whatever city I was at the time became redundant and lacks any sort of fun and fluid factor.

I changed my approach to look up train times, purchase my train ticket 20 minutes before departure, and figure things out when I arrived. Steffan invited me for a day or two to stay in his apartment in Sofia which turned out to be two weeks. I'm very appreciated of the new friend I made and the experiences we shared. You're always welcome at my place in Madison.

So...I'm headed to Istanbul, Ankara, Cairo, Luxor, Alexandria, & perhaps more...we see. I take one day at a time.

Currently making my way through the Canary Islands…so far Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, & now on Tenerife.
