About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To conquer the world. Ha Ha no. To travel for a few years learning about new cultures, seeing new places, meeting new people and most importanty having a damn good time!!!! I really think..... THE PLACE YOU VIST IS ONLY AS GOOD AS THE PEOPLE YOU MEET

ABOUT ME

I consider myself to be an easy going, fun, honest and slighty mental person.LOL. I enjoy extreme sports like Bungee(i'v 12 so far) sky diving, motor-x, scuba diving. And more basic stuff like hiking and camping and most of all travelling. All tho i am pretty new to travelling to some peoples standards. I'v holiday'd in most of Europe with family and friends, but have only really travelled Thailand, Bali, Australia and the Phillipenes.
I have been working/travelling in Australia for 2 years, which was amazing. I worked mostly in bars and nightclubs, but did lots of labouring work, farm work and fruit picking to extend my visa.
Now i intend to enjoy myself for a few months before heading to New Zealand and Canada.

PHILOSOPHY

It'll be alright

Take it easy

The place you visit is only as good as the people you meet

(despite these i'm not actually a hippy)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I generally am very likeable, i enjoy sharing stories more than anything, espesially with people from different countries, its amazing how similar we all are. i usually instigate drinking early in the day and am last to finish, mainly as a result of working in Bars and Nightclubs plus i am Scottish so it comes with the Territory. LOL

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed twice with a lovely lady called Sharon Salazar in Puerto Princessa in Palawan, Phillipenes. She showed me and some of my friends,(cs's) place off the map and was really knowledgable and helpful and pretty cool 2. I had a great time so i'v signed up to be a cs as a result. i hope to see her again in a few weeks when i revisit Palawan for more fun

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It may not seem amazing to some people, but when i saw the film "the beach" when i was 16ish i vowed to visit that place. I did it in 2009, an overnight camping stay, and it was hands down the nostalgic, beautiful, sereal thing i have done, plus we had a great laugh doing it, the tour guides still remember us as my friends have visited since. Epic

Teach, Learn, Share

I dont just look at a building... it could be a small beach hut or a huge skyscraper. I see materials, structure, aesthetics and it amazes me how each culture/location adapts and changes how things are built. Especially with limited resources.
