About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live, love, laugh. I love to travel and meet new people. It's just a beautiful thing to travel without an itinerary and keep an open mind and heart. You can manifest such great things !!!

ABOUT ME

Friends would describe me as a nice, hard-working, fun guy. I'd like to think of myself as a humanitarian. I quite like meeting new people and experiencing new cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I do love to travel and have crashed at peoples homes but that has been through friends. I just think this is such a great thing and I hope to show people around Chicago and potentially share my home. I do have 2 roommates so beforehand I will just want to meet people and of course check out their profile.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One time while traveling in Central America, I was approached by a person at a hostel in San Jose. He invited me on a trip to the beach where we ran into his friends. We ended up housesitting at a beautiful place near the beach. Now both those people are friends of mine and we are all welcome at one another's homes.

Interests

I like baseball here in the states but of course starting watching futbol (soccer) now that I travel so much. Actually I only started traveling in '06 but I've been going on trips at least once per year.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like classic rock, alt-country,etc. Favorite flicks include Braveheart and Forrest Gump.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking in Guatemala can be so amazing. So far, I have been atop Santa Maria and Tajumulco, among some other hikes. What I realize on these trips is that I much prefer people over things. I have spent a lot of time in Costa Rica, which is stunning. However, the experience in Guatemala is far more personal. A lot of people here don't have much. But what they have they take care of and they really care about one another. It's really inspiring!! Buena Onda!!!!

Countries I’ve Visited

Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, France, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In
