Very Adaptable. Courteous. A little shy at first, but I warm up quickly. I work as a carpenter/set decorator in the film industry and travel and/or produce art stuff when I can. I'm always up for listening to people's stories and sharing mine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couch Surfing was a way of life for me in the days just before the internet. Well, when the internet was a bit less accessible. Couch surfing enabled me to have genuine experiences in cool places instead of having an impersonal experience stranded at a motel. I still want to travel the way I used to and also return the favor whenever someone from CS is in NYC.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My favorite couch surfing experiences were with the Prometheus Radio Project. We were a small band of media activists traveling across the country building community radio stations for a wide variety of non-profit groups. Wherever we went, people of those communities, would put us up. Great way to see the country and discover soulful communities I otherwise never would have known existed.
